Committees
The SGA Executive Committee has the power to create committees that benefit the student body at TouroCOM - Montana. In the inaugural year, the Executive Committee moved to form the Wellness, Diversity, Social, Curriculum, Community Service, and Constitutional Review Committees. Working in conjunction with the Executive Committee, each committee serves a vital function to support our campus.
SGA Diversity Committee
Lead: Ruksaar Mohammed
Mission: To cultivate an inclusive and equitable medical community. Committed to supporting current and future underserved, underrepresented, and minority medical students. Empower these students by providing them with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to thrive academically and professionally. Contribute towards increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent, and social conscious physicians through targeted initiatives and strategic partnerships. To create a healthcare environment that reflects all aspects of our community and ensures equitable access to high-quality medical care.

Lead: Iqra Amir
Mission: To Promote student, faculty, staff, and institutional community wellbeing, across the physical, emotional, academic, and social spectrums.
SGA Community Service Committee
Lead: Siri Kanakamedala
Mission: To bring together individuals and organizations to address the needs and challenges of our community, and to work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for all residents. To make a difference through meaningful service and community engagement.
SGA Social Committee
Lead: Jessy Ntabo
Mission: To foster a sense of community, connection, and well-being. To create a positive and inclusive medical school environment where students can build meaningful relationships, engage in fun and enriching activities, and commemorate achievements together. To enhance morale, boost school spirit, and promote a healthy school-life balance through events and initiatives.
SGA Curriculum Committee
Lead: Ashley Adler-Kessar
Mission: To collaborate with students, faculty, and administration to foster and support academic achievement through advocacy and a student-centric approach.
SGA Constitutional Review Committee
Lead: Rushil Mehrotra
Mission: To assist the SGA Parliamentarian with review and approval of updates to the Student Government Association Constitution.
SGA Mentorship Committee
Lead: Yash Patel
Mission: To cultivate a mentor-mentee relationship between OMS-1 and OMS-2 classes.
