Mentorship Program

Designed to provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities for both masters and DO students enrolled at TouroCOM - Montana.

Structure:

Pairing System: Mentors, typically DO students that have either successfully completed the masters program or the first-year (OMS-I) curriculum, are paired with mentees (incoming masters or DO students) based on shared interests, specialties, or goals.
Development Events: Mentors are required to attend at least one mentor development presentation each semester. This is to better our skills and acknowledge the lifelong commitment to being mentors as future physicians.
Social Events: Mentors should plan to attend at least one organized social event with their mentee to help foster a community of students on campus.
In addition to above, all mentors agree to meet with their mentee at least twice per semester and keep consistent communication throughout the academic year.

Applications for 2024-2025 mentors have been distributed, email SGA or Mentorship Program Coordinators with questions.
